Investment in wind energy is new to many people. Thus in this section and subsections we answer some of the questions which may arise prior to an engagement in wind energy investment and financing.

Nordic Wind Invest® A/S works with two types of projects: projects with turbines in operation and projects with new (or recently erected) turbines.

For turbines in operation there is a clear history of the performance - the actual realised production - and this is used to determine the future production adjusted with the official wind index, which lays the foundation for the budgets.

For new turbines we always use 2-3 wind power analysis to determine the future production.

Both of these methods secure a maximal prognosis accuracy to the benefit of the investors.

In any project Nordic Wind Invest® A/S cooperates with renowned financial and legal advisors.

Auditors Deloitte in Copenhagen and KPMG in Århus review all of our projects and prepare the projects' budget - including the fiscal consequenses of the investment.

The legal aspects of the projects are reviewed by Sagawe & Klages in Germany and by Gide Loirette Nouel in France. Both are experts in the area of renewable energy.

Financing is done by reputed European financial institutes.

Full administration is offered, so our investors can rely on the utmost professional and updated service and information related to their investment..

This also secures the necessary continuity of the administration of the project which by nature is a long-term investment. Service and maintenance is normally carried out by the wind turbine producer.
